I can't imagine living on a fault line. I have friends of mine in California who might be reading this, so my thoughts and prayer are with you (insert smiley emoticon here).But I was thinking this morning about other fault lines that we are currently on as a culture. There is friction occuring between groups of people that when reaching a tipping point, might cause some societal shock waves.
Generational - boomer, Xer, millenial, etc., etc.
Spiritual - christian, muslim, oprah
Technological - have, have nots
Philosophical - modern,postmodern, postpostmodern, etc.
Church - mega, house, marketplace, none of the above
Political - red, blue, purple
Race - obama, jackson
Sports - favre, packers
